However, if your account fulfils the conditions to be inactive, still you don't need to panic. Google will send multiple notifications in the months leading up to the deletion date to both the inactive Gmail address and any recovery email address connected to the account. This policy change is driven by security concerns since abandoned accounts tend to rely on compromised passwords and lack two-factor authentication.
